Taal is famous for its panutsa. Unlike the panutsa from Bagio, Taal panutsa, or peanut brittle, uses whole peanuts locally grown in Batangas. These tasty crunchy morsels are typically in a round circular shape and they normally come in large or medium sizes. The sugar mixture has a thicker consistency and a distinct dark color that identifies the Taal treat. The native panutsa is a delicious snack that gives more pep to your step!
